I love Arlington. There is so much to love. No matter who you are or what your interests and passions,
you too found a reason to call Arlington home.
Arlington has focused on growth for the last 20 years. Look around, growth is everywhere -- from increased density for new high-rise apartments and office buildings, to new parks and community facilities, from new bike lanes to renovated schools. No question, Arlington is rich with resources and offers much to its citizens.
This is our community. These are our streets, our neighborhoods, our businesses, and our schools.
It's time to step back. To look at where we are as a community. To decide what we want our future Arlington to look like.
It's time to have a leader on our County Board who brings a different perspective – a perspective wider than those which has served on the County Board for the last 15-20 years.
I bring that perspective. I have worked in the community –volunteering at the Arlington Free Clinic and the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department, serving on County commissions and in my local civic association, working on service projects alongside members of the local business community, and serving in many capacities in local politics.
I know Arlington from the viewpoint of a citizen. Like you.
